Setting up Stripe Connect

Connect your bank account to receive payments.

Before you can sell on Yellow Jersey, you need to set up Stripe Connect.

What is Stripe Connect?

  • Secure payment processing
  • Handles seller payouts
  • Manages tax compliance
  • Industry-standard security

Setup process

  1. Go to Settings > Payments & Payouts
  2. Click "Connect with Stripe"
  3. Create or log into Stripe account
  4. Complete identity verification
  5. Add your bank account
  6. Accept terms and conditions

Verification requirements

For individuals

  • Full legal name
  • Date of birth
  • Address
  • Last 4 digits of TFN (optional but recommended)
  • Government ID (if requested)

For businesses

  • Business details
  • ABN or ACN
  • Authorised representative info
  • Business address

Bank account details

  • Australian bank account required
  • BSB and account number
  • Account must be in your name

After setup

  • You'll see "Connected" status
  • Ready to list and sell items
  • Payouts sent to your bank automatically
