Why we built it
Buying a bike shouldn’t take a dozen tabs. A lot of what’s on bike shop floors never makes it online, and pre‑loved bikes are scattered across classifieds and Facebook groups. There’s been no easy way to see both side by side.
Shops have the range, the workshop and the know-how. Riders have good gear they’ve moved on from. Everyone else has been left to piece it together.
So we built one place for all of it. The marketplace Australian bike shops have been missing, with room for every rider too.

Questions
No, Yellow Jersey is the marketplace. Everything is sold by a local bike shop or a private seller, and each listing shows who you’re buying from.
You pay at checkout through Stripe, so your card details never reach the seller. We hold the money for up to 7 days and pass it on once you confirm your order arrived. A small buyer protection fee is shown in your bag before you pay.
Usually. Most shop products are picked up in store, and private sellers offer pickup, postage or both. You choose when you check out.
On pre‑loved listings, yes. The seller can accept, decline or counter, and an accepted offer holds the item for you for 48 hours while you pay. Shop products sell at the shop’s price.
Get in touch through the Help centre before you confirm it arrived, and we’ll help you sort it out with the seller.
Listing is free. When something sells, Yellow Jersey keeps 5% of the price, and any postage the buyer pays goes to you in full. To get paid, set up payouts in Your account.
