The Deflector M65 is a front and rear MTB mudguard set designed for all-terrain riding and daily commuting. With maximal protection, the guards sit close to the wheels to help reduce rain and mud spray reaching you, your bike and your riding gear. Compatibility covers 26-inch, 27.5-inch, 650B, 28-inch and 29-inch wheels, with tyres up to 2.6 inches / 65 mm wide.
Fitting is straightforward using ZEFAL’s MD-Strap mounting system, which attaches to the front fork and rear stays. The height can be adjusted to position each guard close to the tyre, making the set suitable for mountain bikes with or without electric assistance, including semi-rigid and full-suspension designs. Front mounting suits diameters from 10–55 mm, while the rear suits 10–32 mm.
The reinforced polypropylene construction is built for regular use, while soft pads and silicone-coated straps help protect frame and fork paintwork. The set weighs 590 g and can be quickly installed or removed. Tighten the straps firmly and check stability by hand before every ride; a transparent frame protector can provide an extra layer of paint protection where needed.
