Riders who carry a lean repair kit and want it kept dry on the bike rather than in a pocket.
The Zefal Z Box S is the compact size in the Z Box range: a bottle-shaped tool box that fits a bottle cage and takes the essentials off your body. At 0.5 L it can hold a multi-tool, an inner tube, tyre levers and a CO2 cartridge, according to Zefal.
The polypropylene body has a screw cap and is waterproof to keep its contents dry. It measures 14 x 7.5 x 7.5 cm and weighs 65 g, and Zefal designs and makes it in France.

Great for
Maybe not for
This is the Small. Zefal makes the Z Box in three sizes: S 0.5 L (14 cm long), M 0.6 L (17 cm long) and L 0.8 L (24 cm long), all 7.5 cm across.
Test-pack it at home
The Small is sized for a multi-tool, a tube, levers and a CO2 cartridge. Pack your own kit into it before a long ride, and if it will not close easily, step up to the Medium.
