The YBN S512H Anti-Drop is a heavy duty single speed chain in the wider 1/2 x 1/8 inch size used on fixed gear, single speed, BMX, cruiser and many kids' bikes, as well as bikes with hub gears.
It comes at 116 links with a joining link, so you can size it to your bike with a chain tool and join it without special pins. The plain silver finish suits almost any bike.
YBN builds it as an anti-drop chain, aimed at riders who want a chain that stays put on the sprocket, whether that is skids on a fixie or a heavy kid on a BMX.

Getting the tension right
On a single speed or fixie, set the chain so it has about 10 to 15 mm of up and down movement at the midpoint. Too tight and it binds, too loose and it can jump off. Check it at a few points of the crank rotation, as chainrings are rarely perfectly round.
