Riders with a PF30 frame running a Shimano or other 24 mm spindle crank who want to stop press-fit creaks.
PF30 frames have a big 46 mm shell, which can creak and wear bearings when cups are simply pressed in. The Wheels Manufacturing PF30 Outboard bottom bracket uses two machined aluminium cups that thread together inside the shell, holding everything square and tight.
This version is made to fit 24 mm spindle cranks such as Shimano straight into a PF30 frame with no adapters. The result is less creaking, smoother running, longer bearing life and quick bearing swaps down the track.
It comes with silicone dust seals and 0.5 mm and 1.0 mm spindle spacers to set the crank up properly.

Thread-together design
The two cups screw into each other inside the shell, keeping the bearings aligned and the unit stable for a quieter, longer-lasting bottom bracket.
Great for
Maybe not for
For PF30 shells with a 46 mm inside diameter and 24.00 mm spindles. FSA MegaExo spindles can measure between 24.00 and 24.07 mm; a 24.07 mm spindle will not fit without Wheels FSA 24.07 bearings.
Install with the right tools
The cups need to go in square and be tightened together with the correct Wheels Mfg tools. A shell that is out of round or damaged can still creak, so we check the frame before fitting. Book it in and we will do it properly.
