Riders replacing worn pedals on an everyday bike who want a simple plastic platform.
These VP pedals have a one-piece PP plastic body in an open, caged MTB style, finished in black with reflectors fitted. They are a straightforward way to replace worn or broken pedals on an everyday bike.
The 9/16 inch thread is the standard size on most adult bikes with three-piece cranks, so they suit mountain, hybrid and commuter bikes. Bikes with one-piece cranks use a smaller 1/2 inch thread and need different pedals.

9/16 in pedal thread only. Check your crank's thread before you buy: most adult bikes use 9/16 in, while bikes with one-piece cranks use 1/2 in.
The left pedal has a reverse thread
The right pedal tightens clockwise as normal, but the left pedal has a reverse thread and tightens anticlockwise. Start each pedal by hand with a little grease on the thread, and make sure it enters straight before you use a spanner. Forcing a pedal in crooked can damage the crank thread.
