Independent testing found the sealant effective across a broad range of pressures: it sealed forced punctures at 75psi on a road bike and 20psi in a mountain bike tyre, while a separate 40psi test retained 39.8psi after a 5mm puncture. The test sealant also remained liquid for months with little drying or particle clogging.
The ammonia-free formula is suitable for use with Vittoria Air-Liner inserts and helps avoid the casing and insert damage associated with ammonia-based sealants. The 80ml bottle includes a neat valve-core remover in the lid, plus a transparent panel and graduation marks to make measuring easier.
