Ideal for gravel riders, bikepackers and commuters seeking a comfortable, protective tubeless-ready tyre for mixed-surface routes rather than a pure hardpack racer.
The Vittoria Terreno T50 Mixed Gravel Endurance is built for riders who want one dependable tyre across pavement, packed dirt and moderately loose gravel. Its 50 mm width adds useful comfort and grip on rougher surfaces, while the directional siping, versatile centre tread and cornering lugs provide a balanced feel rather than focusing solely on speed or deep off-road traction.
Inside, the Endurance Casing uses 100 TPI nylon with a reinforcing sidewall layer for stability at lower pressures and added protection from trail damage. The Anti-Puncture Belt sits beneath the tread, while Bead Shield adds further protection around the bead area. Vittoria’s Graphene-powered Endurance Formulation is designed to balance grip, durability and rolling efficiency for long-distance gravel riding.
In real-world testing, the T50 was easy to install tubeless and showed its strongest character on slightly moist, varied surfaces, with confident descending grip. It felt less compelling as a fast hardpack tyre, so choose it for versatility and durability over outright race speed. Actual inflated width depends on your rim: testing measured 49.23 mm on a 23 mm internal rim and 50.71 mm on a 27 mm internal rim. Check your frame clearance and the ETRTO tyre–rim recommendations before fitting. Do not use ammonia-containing sealant, as it can damage the casing, insert or tyre and may affect warranty coverage.
Mixed-terrain tread
The balanced centre and mid-tread roll efficiently on pavement while supplying useful control on packed dirt and moderately loose gravel.
Directional siping
Tread texture works with the block edges to improve traction as surfaces change beneath you.
Confident cornering
Dedicated cornering lugs add support and control when the route becomes loose or more technical.
Endurance Casing
The 100 TPI nylon casing is built to handle mixed-terrain punishment while helping preserve ride comfort and feel.
Anti-Puncture Belt
A reinforced belt beneath the tread helps resist punctures and reduce interruptions on longer rides.
Protected sidewalls and bead
A reinforcing nylon layer improves lateral stability, while Bead Shield adds protection around the bead area.
Tubeless-ready setup
The folding tubeless-ready construction allows lower-pressure riding for extra comfort and grip when paired with compatible rims and sealant.
Wide 700c format
The 700x50c size provides a substantial contact patch and cushioning, subject to suitable frame, fork and rim clearance.
