Road riders who want one tough, quick tyre for training, commuting and weekend rides.
The Rubino is Vittoria's everyday performance tyre. Its smooth centre strip rolls fast and flows into chevron clusters, with the familiar grid texture at the edge, and the Graphene + Silica compound is engineered for long mileage, puncture resistance, grip and speed.
Underneath, a 100 TPI nylon casing gives durability and reliability, an anti-puncture belt adds protection where you need it most, and a bead shield guards the bead. This is the 700 x 28c in black, a tube-type clincher for inner tubes only (not tubeless), often listed as the Rubino G2.0. Vittoria lists the 28c as compatible with hookless rims.
100 TPI nylon casing
Thicker threads that stand up to daily training miles while still keeping the tyre quick enough for the weekly bunch ride or crit.
Graphene + Silica compound
Rubber infused with graphene and silica for long mileage, puncture resistance, high grip and speed.
Anti-puncture belt
Extra puncture resistance under the tread, to keep your ride smooth and uninterrupted.
Light folding tyre
A claimed 240 g for the 28c, and the folding bead packs down small if you carry it as a spare.

Great for
Maybe not for
700 x 28c (ETRTO 28-622) fits 622 mm (700c) rims. Vittoria lists the 28c as compatible with hookless rims (the 26c is not), but check your rim maker's tyre width and pressure limits. Use an inner tube made for a 28 mm tyre, check frame clearance, and keep to the maximum pressure printed on the sidewall.
Tube-type means tube only
Vittoria says this tyre is for mounting with inner tubes only, so do not set it up tubeless. If you want to go tubeless, choose a tubeless-ready tyre instead. Use a tube made for a 28 mm tyre, and check that it is not pinched under the bead when you fit the tyre.
