Commuters and tourers on 27.5 in (650B) bikes who ride in all weather and want a tough, fuss-free tyre.
The Randonneur Tech is Vittoria's puncture-resistant road touring tyre for wet conditions. The classic road-slick tread keeps rolling efficiency up in wet or dry while channelling water away from the contact patch, and the graphene-infused compound gives predictable, reliable grip on the shoulders.
Sharp debris and thorns stick to a wet tyre more easily, so the tough nylon casing is reinforced with Vittoria's Solid Shield breaker, its burliest puncture protection. This is the 27.5 x 1.50 (40-584) in black, a wire-bead clincher for inner tubes, with a reflective sidewall stripe for low-light commutes.
Road-slick tread
A classic slick pattern that keeps rolling efficiency high and channels water away from the contact patch.
Solid Shield puncture protection
Vittoria's burliest puncture-resistant breaker sits under the tread to help shrug off glass and thorns.
Graphene-infused compound
Rubber infused with graphene for good rolling efficiency on the centre strip and predictable grip on the shoulders.
Reflective sidewall stripe
A reflective stripe catches headlights and helps you stand out on low-light commutes.

Great for
Maybe not for
27.5 x 1.50 (ETRTO 40-584) fits 584 mm (27.5 in or 650B) rims. Check frame and fork clearance for a 1.5 in tyre, use an inner tube made for 27.5 x 1.5, and keep to the maximum pressure printed on the sidewall and your rim maker's limit.
Slick does not mean slippery
On sealed roads a slick tread puts more rubber on the ground, so it grips well, and the grooves shift surface water out from under the tyre. Where a slick struggles is on loose dirt, gravel and mud, so take it easy on those stretches or pick a tyre with a more open tread if your commute includes them.
