Ideal for home mechanics, mobile mechanics and workshops that want a dedicated handled tool for regular cassette servicing.
The Unior U1315 is a cassette lockring remover with an integrated handle, giving you a dedicated tool for removing and fitting cassette lockrings. Instead of reaching for an adjustable wrench or another improvised option, you have the lockring interface and handle together in one purpose-built bicycle tool.
The handled format makes the tool easy to grab and use at the workbench, whether you are changing a cassette, moving one between wheels or carrying out routine drivetrain maintenance. A dedicated handle also gives you a more controlled way to apply force than using a loose lockring socket with whatever wrench happens to be nearby.
Unior’s cassette tools are known for a distinctive tall, narrow profile and are designed as part of a broader cassette-tool system. The U1315 is the straightforward integrated option: one dedicated tool for cassette lockring jobs, backed by Unior’s stated quality guarantee. Choose it if you want a neat, workshop-ready solution rather than a loose tool that needs a separate handle.
Integrated handle
The lockring remover and handle are combined, so you can get started without pairing a loose socket with a separate wrench.
Dedicated cassette tool
Purpose-built for cassette lockring work rather than adapted from a general-purpose hand tool.
Workshop-ready format
A practical handled design that is easy to keep on a home workshop bench or in a professional tool area.
Controlled operation
The fixed handle provides a direct way to apply turning force during cassette removal and installation.
Part of Unior’s cassette-tool range
The U1315 sits within Unior’s broader family of cassette tools, making it a natural fit for mechanics already using the brand’s bicycle workshop equipment.
Quality guaranteed
Unior lists quality guaranteed as a feature of the tool, giving you added confidence in choosing a dedicated workshop implement.

From Styria to the World
Unior is a Slovenian hand-tools and metal-processing company based in Zreče, in the Pohorje region. Its industrial roots extend through the area’s historic ironworking tradition, while the company’s modern predecessor, the Styria Iron Works Company, was established in 1919.
The business developed from forged agricultural and craft tools into an international manufacturer with activities spanning hand tools, forged parts, sintered components and specialised machines. Unior became the company name in the 1970s and built a worldwide distribution network for its hand tools, alongside manufacturing and commercial operations in multiple markets.
