Riders and mechanics replacing a worn Power Spline bottom bracket on a 68 mm English-threaded frame with a 113 mm spindle.
The Truvativ Power Spline bottom bracket is the replacement for bikes fitted with Truvativ Power Spline cranks, a 12-spline interface found on many moderately priced original-equipment Truvativ cranksets.
This one suits a 68 mm BSA (English) threaded shell and has a 113 mm spindle. The heat-treated chromoly spindle runs in a sealed cartridge, so it's a fit-and-forget job, and crank bolts are included.
Match the spindle length to what came out of your bike. The length is printed on the cartridge, and getting it right keeps your chainline and crank clearance where they should be.

Power Spline
Truvativ's 12-spline crank interface, used on many original-equipment Truvativ cranks. It is not interchangeable with square taper, ISIS or Shimano Octalink.
Great for
Maybe not for
Shell: 68 mm BSA/English (1.37 inch thread). Spindle: 113 mm. Check the length printed on your old cartridge and your crank's interface before ordering.
How to tell it's Power Spline
Pull a crank arm off and look at the spindle end. Power Spline has 12 splines. Square taper is a plain four-sided taper, and ISIS has 10 splines. They are not interchangeable.
Fitting
You'll need a splined cartridge BB tool and a crank puller. Grease the threads, and remember the drive side of an English BB is reverse threaded, so it tightens anti-clockwise.
