Tru-Tension PrimeShine Cycle Brake Cleaner is a 500 ml aerosol made to rapidly remove dirt, dust, carbon and oil build up from braking components. It is made for road, MTB and e-bikes, and is said to cut brake squeal.
Secure the bike on a stand, spray directly onto the brake components, then wipe away with a clean cloth or let it evaporate. Always use it in a well ventilated area. Tru-Tension's motorcycle version carries a note that it is not suitable for painted surfaces or rubber components, so keep overspray off frame paint and tyres.
