Riders restoring or maintaining a 6-speed city, road or classic bike that has a screw-on rear hub.
The MFR2A 6DP is SunRace's 6-speed freewheel with a 14-24T range and a zinc and black finish. It is a screw-on unit, so the six sprockets and the freewheel mechanism are combined in one steel block that threads onto the rear hub, rather than sliding onto a freehub body like a cassette.
SunRace lists it as a city and road freewheel for beginner riders, with a weight of 393 g. Because it screws on, you need a freewheel removal tool to fit or remove it, and a chain made for 6-speed drivetrains.

This is the 6-speed 14-24T. SunRace also makes the MFR2A as a 5-speed (5DP) in 14-24T, so match the speed count to your shifter and chain.
Fitting a screw-on freewheel
Clean and lightly grease the hub threads, then thread the freewheel on by hand so it seats squarely. It tightens itself as you pedal, which is why removal needs a proper freewheel removal tool. Re-index the gears and check the chain length afterwards.
