Riders and mechanics replacing a worn square-taper bottom bracket in a frame with a 68 mm threaded shell.
This is a sealed cartridge bottom bracket for frames with a threaded 68 mm shell. The bearings are sealed inside the unit, so it goes in and comes out as one piece, and the threaded steel cups hold it in the frame.
The axle is 127.5 mm long with square-taper ends, so it suits square-taper cranks that call for that length. Before ordering, check your frame's shell width and thread, and the axle length your crankset asks for.
Sealed cartridge
The bearings sit sealed inside one unit, with no loose balls to adjust.
Threaded steel cups
Steel cups thread into a 68 mm shell.
127.5 mm square-taper axle
Suits square-taper cranksets that call for this axle length.

Maybe not for
Check three things before ordering: the shell is threaded and 68 mm wide, your cranks are square taper, and 127.5 mm is the axle length your crankset asks for. Most 68 mm shells use the English (BSA) thread; if you are not sure, measure the old bottom bracket or ask the shop.
Match the axle to the crank
Axle length sets how far the cranks and chainrings sit from the frame. Too long or too short and the chain lines up badly, so go by what your crankset maker recommends for your frame.
