An ideal choice for anyone upgrading a compatible 1x11 mountain, gravel or adventure bike and needing lower gearing for steep climbs without an XD freehub body.
The PG-1130 is an 11-speed cassette designed for 1x drivetrains, with an 11-42T spread covering fast, low-resistance riding through to steep climbs. Its 11, 13, 15, 17, 19, 22, 25, 28, 32, 36 and 42-tooth cogs provide a useful progression across the range, while the large 42T sprocket gives you extra climbing support when the trail or road tilts upwards.
SRAM’s PowerGlide II tooth profile and shift ramps are shaped for positive, consistent indexed shifting, while the JET black finish adds corrosion resistance to help the cassette retain its appearance and performance over time. At 538 g, it is a sensible choice when you want wide-range gearing without moving to a more specialised cassette system.
Fit is straightforward for compatible wheels: the cassette works with 10- and 11-speed non-XD driver bodies and requires a 1.85 mm spacer on an 11-speed road driver. It is compatible with SRAM 11-speed chains, but is not compatible with XD driver bodies. Choose it when dependable 1x11 range and broad compatibility matter more than chasing the lightest possible cassette.
11-42T wide range
Combines an 11-tooth high gear with a 42-tooth climbing gear for versatile 1x11 riding.
1x drivetrain focused
The 11-42T configuration is designed specifically for 1x drivetrains, keeping the setup simple and easy to use.
PowerGlide II shifting
The off-road-optimised tooth profile and shift ramps support quick, positive and consistent indexed shifts.
Conventional non-XD fit
Works with compatible 10- and 11-speed non-XD driver bodies, avoiding the need for an XD freehub body.
Road-driver spacer included in the fit requirement
A 1.85 mm spacer is required when fitting the cassette to an 11-speed road splined driver body.
SRAM 11-speed chain compatible
Designed to work with all SRAM 11-speed chains for a straightforward drivetrain replacement.
JET black finish
Adds corrosion resistance to help maintain the cassette’s finish and ride performance.
