Road and gravel riders on a 12-speed road or 13-speed XPLR AXS groupset who want a like-for-like Force chain.
The SRAM Force E1 Flattop chain is built for 12-speed road and 13-speed gravel drivetrains, including XPLR AXS dropbar groupsets. Flattop technology allows a narrower chain with quieter operation and increased strength and durability, and cut-outs in the inner and outer link plates take weight out.
The inner link plates and rollers are Hard Chrome plated to reduce wear and extend chain life. This 126-link chain comes with a Flattop PowerLock connector, which SRAM says is good for a single use only.

Compatibility
Flattop
SRAM's link shape that allows a narrower chain, enabling X-Range gearing. It also gives quieter drivetrain operation and increased chain strength and durability.
HARD CHROME
A finishing process on the inner links and rollers for reduced wear and a longer-lasting chain.
PowerLock
SRAM's tool-free chain connector. SRAM says each PowerLock is good for a one-time application only.

Maybe not for
Supplied at 126 links, which is long for many road bikes. Compare it against your old chain or your bike's recommended length and shorten it before joining if needed.
PowerLock is a one-use link
SRAM says each PowerLock is good for a one-time application only, so fit a fresh one every time the chain is opened, and use the Flattop PowerLock supplied for this chain.
