Hoods take a beating from sweat, sunscreen and the odd crash. These are genuine SRAM replacement hoods for RED and Force eTap AXS hydraulic (HRD) levers, the first-generation AXS levers from 2019 to 2022.

Warm them up
Hoods go on much more easily when warm. Sit them in warm water for a few minutes, roll the hood back from the bottom, and work it over the lever body from the top. A little isopropyl alcohol helps them slide, then evaporates so they grip.
