Riders, runners and anyone training in the heat who wants proper electrolytes without a sugary drink.
Skratch Labs Hydration Sport Drink Mix was built for athletes who found normal sports drinks too sweet and hard on the gut. It's flavoured with real fruit, with no artificial colours or flavours, and tastes light enough to keep drinking all day.
Each 22 g scoop gives 400 mg of sodium and 19 g of carbs for 80 calories, focused on replacing what you lose in sweat rather than being a full fuel source. The caffeinated version adds 50 mg of caffeine per serving, a gentle lift for long rides, early starts or the back end of a race. Keep an eye on your total caffeine if you're also using gels or coffee.
The 440 g resealable bag holds 20 servings. Mix one scoop in a standard bottle, and add more or less water to suit how hot the day is and how salty a sweater you are.

Drink early, not just when thirsty
On hot days start sipping in the first half hour and aim for a bottle an hour, more if you're a salty sweater. Pair it with food or gels for rides longer than a couple of hours.
Real food, simple sports nutrition.
Skratch Labs was started by sports physiologist Allen Lim, who first mixed his own drinks and food for pro cyclists who were struggling with conventional sports drinks.
The brand is known for lighter tasting mixes flavoured with real fruit and an electrolyte profile built around what you lose in sweat.
