Silca Super Secret is a drip-applied wax-based chain lubricant designed to deliver hot-melt-wax-style performance without removing the chain for a dip. Its liquid wax dries into a clean coating, while tungsten disulfide (WS2) particles help smooth microscopic imperfections in the chain’s metal surfaces. The result is a drivetrain that runs quietly, stays clean to the touch and resists picking up dirt and debris.
Preparation matters. Start with a very clean, completely dry chain, shake the bottle thoroughly, then apply one controlled drop per link while rotating the chain backwards. Work the lubricant into the links, run the drivetrain cross-chained, and leave it to dry for at least 12 hours—24 hours is preferable in cool or humid conditions. Applying it after a ride makes it easier to have the bike ready for the next outing.
Once cured, Super Secret is suitable for road, gravel, mountain bike, commuting and wet-weather riding.
