A good fit for everyday riders, beginners and smaller-handed cyclists replacing twist shifters on a Shimano mountain-style 3x7-speed bike.
The Shimano Tourney SL-RV400 is a 3x7-speed REVOSHIFT shift lever set designed for simple, controlled gear changes. Twist the shifter with your thumb and index finger while keeping your hands on the handlebar, making it a natural choice for everyday riding, commuting and riders new to indexed shifting.
The light shifting operation is approximately 25% lighter than SL-RS35, while the ergonomic grip design is suited to riders with smaller hands. The optical gear position indicator lets you check your selected gear and see the remaining positions at a glance, so choosing the right ratio is less of a guess.
At the rear, SIS INDEX 7-speed shifting delivers a defined click between gears when paired with the appropriate indexed cable and smooth-action rear derailleur. Clamp-band mounting keeps installation familiar, and the cable can be replaced easily when maintenance is needed. Please note that cable housing is sold separately.
