Riders and mechanics setting up or repairing Shimano 12-speed Di2 who need a short 250 mm SD300 wire.
The Shimano EW-SD300 is the E-TUBE wire used by Shimano's 12-speed Di2 groupsets, including Dura-Ace R9200, Ultegra R8100 and 105 R7100. It's slimmer than the older EW-SD50 wire, at roughly 2.1 mm, with a smaller plug at each end.
This version is 250 mm long and made for external routing. Di2 wires can't be cut or shortened, so choosing the right length is what keeps the install tidy.
Carry a spare or swap out a damaged wire and you're back to crisp electronic shifting.

Measure the full routed path before ordering, allowing a little slack for steering and suspension movement. Wires cannot be cut or shortened.
Use the right tool
SD300 plugs are small. Use Shimano's TL-EW300 plug tool to push them in and pull them out, and never pull on the wire itself.
Run a system check
After replacing a wire, connect to Shimano's E-TUBE app and run a check to confirm every component is talking to the system.
