The Shimano Deore SL-M6100-IR is the right hand shifter for Shimano's 12-speed Deore mountain bike groupset. It uses RAPIDFIRE PLUS trigger shifting, so you can dump several gears in one push when the trail kicks up.
This is the I-SPEC EV version. Rather than a separate bar clamp, it bolts straight to a compatible Shimano brake lever, keeping your cockpit clean and giving plenty of room to fine tune the lever position. It has no optical gear display.
Pair it with a Shimano 12-speed MTB rear derailleur such as the Deore RD-M6100 for light, accurate shifting.

Fresh cable, sharp shifts
When fitting a new shifter, run a fresh inner cable and check the outer housing. Most shifting problems on 12-speed come down to worn cable, housing or a bent hanger rather than the shifter.
Dial in the position
I-SPEC EV lets you slide and rotate the shifter relative to the brake. Set the brake lever first, then move the shifter so both paddles fall naturally under your thumb.
