The Shimano CS-HG500-10 is a 10-speed HYPERGLIDE cassette built for durability. This 11-32T version runs 11-12-14-16-18-20-22-25-28-32T, with one tooth jumps at the small end and a generous low gear for climbing.
The sprockets have a nickel shot peened finish for corrosion resistance and are drilled to save weight, and it's secured with a nickel plated steel lockring. Shimano rates it as meeting its E-MTB durability requirements.
It's a popular replacement on 10-speed road, gravel, touring and flat bar bikes, and it fits a standard Shimano HG freehub body.

Fits a standard Shimano HG 8, 9 or 10-speed freehub body. On an 11-speed road freehub body you need a spacer behind the cassette. Needs a rear derailleur rated for a 32T largest sprocket and a 10-speed chain.
Check derailleur capacity
Many short cage road derailleurs top out at 28T. If you're moving up from a smaller cassette, check your derailleur's maximum sprocket and chain length, or bring the bike in and we'll check it for you.
Fresh chain, happy cassette
Pair a new cassette with a chain that's within wear limits. A stretched chain on new sprockets will skip, especially in the smaller cogs.
