Riders on any Shimano 11-speed road, gravel or mountain bike who want a durable, good value replacement chain.
The Shimano CN-HG601 is the 11-speed chain from the 105 road and SLX mountain bike groups. It uses Shimano's directional HG-X11 design, so it shifts crisply across the cassette and chainrings.
The inner plates get Shimano's SIL-TEC treatment, which cuts friction and helps the chain last longer between replacements. It is also e-bike rated, so it is happy on 11-speed e-MTBs and e-hybrids.
This version has 126 links, long enough for bikes with big cassettes or long chainstays, and it comes with a Quick-Link so you can remove it for a deep clean without a chain tool.

126 links, which most bikes will need shortening to size. Directional: fit with the Shimano logo facing out. Use the included Quick-Link, or a matching 11-speed connecting pin.
Measure before you cut
Size the new chain against your old one if it was correct, or use the big-big plus two links method for mountain bikes. When the old chain has stretched past 0.5 per cent, check the cassette too, as a worn cassette can skip on a new chain.
Components that power most of the world's bikes.

Its road groups run from Claris to Dura-Ace and its mountain groups from Tourney to XTR, with chains to match each level.
