Road and gravel riders on Shimano flat-mount disc brakes who want quiet, predictable braking.
The Shimano K05Ti-RX is the current resin pad for Shimano's K-type calipers, which covers most Shimano road and gravel disc brakes from 105 up to Dura-Ace and GRX. It replaces the K03Ti directly.
Shimano's newer resin compound gives smooth, progressive braking and runs quieter, and Shimano says it wears 50% longer than K03Ti. The titanium back plate saves weight, and each pack includes a pad spring.
Resin pads bed in quickly and feel great in the dry. If you ride a lot of long, wet descents or heavy loads, ask us about metal pads as an alternative.

Great for
Maybe not for
K-type pad. Fits BR-R9270, R9170, R8170, R8070, R7070, RX810, RX400, 4770, RS805, RS505, RS405, RS305, U5000, M9100, M9110 and M8110. Resin only: check your rotors are resin-compatible (most Shimano rotors are).
Bed them in
After fitting, do 10 to 20 firm stops from about 25 km/h down to walking pace without locking the wheel. This lays down an even layer of pad material on the rotor and gives you full power and less noise.
Push the pistons back first
Use a plastic tyre lever to gently push the pistons back before sliding the new pads in. Never squeeze the lever with the pads out.
