Long-distance road riders and commuters who want a long-lasting, quiet wet lube.
Ride Mechanic Bike Syrup is a wet film chain lube with a cushioning, pressure additive that coats the metal surfaces inside the links to help cut metal-on-metal wear. The maker describes the result as a very quiet, smooth-running chain.
It is a viscous lube, so you apply it sparingly: one drop on every 3 to 6 rollers. It slowly works into the links and leaves a coating on the inside and outside of the chain that the maker says doesn't attract road grime. Claimed life is up to 1000 km or several weeks. This is the 60 ml bottle.

How the maker says to apply it
Degrease and dry the drivetrain, put the chain in a gear you use often, then add one drop on every third roller starting from the joining link. Turn the cranks backwards 20 to 30 times and give it 10 minutes to set. In dry conditions you can wipe off external residue before riding. In cold weather, a little warmth helps it penetrate.
