The Explosive MINI is built around a 20-inch junior BMX frame with a shorter top tube than the standard Explosive. That compact geometry, combined with a low standover height, makes getting on and off less intimidating for smaller riders while leaving room to grow into the bike. The steel BMX fork adds a stable feel and the BMX-style cockpit gives it a sporty, easy-to-control character.
On the move, the 20 x 2.125 knobby tyres are suited to everyday footpaths, parks and dirt riding, while the wide 560 mm handlebar helps provide reassuring leverage. Braking is straightforward: the rear coaster brake engages by back-pedalling, with a front linear-pull brake operated from the short-reach lever. A simple single-speed drivetrain, comfortable junior saddle, grips, kickstand and protective pad set keep the focus on fun, low-fuss riding.
