Owners of the listed Giant, Liv and CO-OP bikes who have bent or broken their hanger, or want a spare on hand.
The derailleur hanger is the small, deliberately soft part that bolts your rear derailleur to the frame. When the bike falls on its drive side, the hanger bends so the frame doesn't. A bent hanger means poor shifting, noisy gears and, at worst, a derailleur in the spokes.
This is hanger 136, the same shape as the Wheels Manufacturing 167. It suits many Giant and Liv models including the Defy, TCR, Propel, AnyRoad, Revolt, Escape, Avail and Thrive across a range of years. Check the full list in the specifications before you buy.
Hangers are very model and year specific, so if you're unsure, bring the bike or your old hanger in and we'll match it up for you.

Fits the Giant, Liv and CO-OP models and years listed in the specifications. Hanger fit is model and year specific, so compare with your old hanger or ask us to check.
Align after fitting
Even a new hanger is worth checking with an alignment gauge once it's fitted, then re-index the gears. Tighten the hanger bolts gently, they're small and the threads in the hanger strip easily.
Keep one in the kit
If you travel with your bike or race, a spare hanger weighs almost nothing and is often impossible to find in a small town shop.
