Home mechanics and riders who swap pedals between bikes, especially those with hex-only road pedals.
Many modern pedals, including most Shimano road pedals, have no spanner flats and are fitted with an 8 mm hex key from the back of the crank. The PRO Pedal Wrench 8mm Hex is made for exactly that job.
The long hardened steel arm gives plenty of leverage for pedals that have been on for years, while the dual compound grip keeps your hand comfortable when you lean on it. A ball end on the handle lets you spin pedals in and out fast, even when the crank is at an awkward angle.

Check your pedal axle end: this suits the 8 mm hex socket found on many Shimano road pedals and others.
Remember the threads
The right pedal loosens anticlockwise, but the left pedal is reverse threaded and loosens clockwise. An easy rule: turn the wrench towards the back of the bike to loosen either side. Grease the threads when refitting.
