Overview

Ideal for road racers and performance-focused riders who want a fast, supple tubeless setup for racing, rapid group rides and high-speed training.

The P ZERO Race TLR RS Team Edition is a road-racing tubeless-ready tyre for riders who prioritise speed, cornering control and a smooth connection with the road. Its 120 TPI SpeedCORE™ casing uses a thin airtight rubber layer infused with aramid particles, helping combine air retention, mechanical resistance and casing flexibility. Choose from 28-622, 30-622 or 35-622 to match your bike, wheelset and preferred balance of weight and comfort.

At the heart of the tyre is SmartEVO², a high-performance compound developed to deliver very low rolling resistance with strong grip and precise handling. Independent lab testing recorded 10.5 watts of rolling resistance for the 28-622 size, while real-world riding impressions highlight its cushioned feel, responsive acceleration and secure dry-road cornering. The tyre is also designed to work with modern aerodynamic rims and tubeless-ready wheels, including hooked and hookless designs.

This is a focused race tyre rather than a maximum-protection training tyre. Its comfort and speed make it a strong option for racing, fast group rides and performance-focused training, but riders regularly tackling rough roads or prioritising puncture protection should consider a more durability-oriented option. As with any tubeless setup, check your rim manufacturer's approved tyre sizes and pressure limits before fitting.

SpeedCORE™ casing

A flexible 120 TPI casing with an airtight aramid-infused layer helps reduce rolling drag while retaining air effectively.

SmartEVO² compound

The high-performance rubber is tuned for low rolling resistance, precise handling and strong grip across changing road conditions.

Tubeless-ready construction

Use with compatible tubeless-ready rims for a smooth, fast setup without an inner tube.

Hooked and hookless rim compatibility

The bead design is made for modern road wheel systems, including compatible hooked and hookless rims.

Race-focused sizing

Available in 28, 30 and 35 mm options, giving you a choice between sharp response, added comfort and greater volume.

FSC™ certified natural rubber

About 23% of the tyre's weight comes from FSC™ certified natural rubber, supporting responsible material sourcing.

Made in Italy

Produced at Pirelli's Bollate facility near Milan for the Team Edition race range.

Fast, composed ride feel

The tyre combines lively acceleration with a cushioned, connected feel that helps you carry speed through corners.
