A good fit for commuters, touring cyclists and everyday riders with a compatible centre mount who want simple, adjustable support for a 24–29-inch-wheel bike.
The Oxford Bigfoot Kickstand is a centre-fitting alloy propstand that mounts next to the bottom bracket. It is designed for bikes with 24–29-inch wheels, making it a useful everyday addition to many commuter, hybrid, touring and recreational bikes with a suitable centre-kickstand mount.
Set the adjustable leg to suit your wheel size and preferred parking angle, then deploy the broad Bigfoot foot for a more stable base than a narrow-ended stand can provide. A centre-mounted single-leg kickstand is a practical choice for quick stops, loading panniers or keeping your bike off the ground when no wall or rail is available.
Before ordering, check that your frame has a compatible centre fitting beside the bottom bracket. Centre-mounted stands can be a dependable parking solution when correctly fitted, but the frame and mounting area should be checked carefully during installation; avoid overtightening the bolts, as excessive clamping force can damage chainstays.
