Ideal for a road, gravel or CX rider with tubeless-ready wheels who wants a complete first conversion kit with good valves, enough tape for two rims and sealant included.
The Muc-Off Ultimate Tubeless Setup Kit is built for riders who already have a tubeless-ready wheelset and want the key parts in one box. In this Road/Gravel shallow-rim version, you get 21 mm x 10 m rim tape, 44 mm tubeless valves, seal patches, a valve core removal tool and two sealant pouches—enough to set up both wheels without piecing a kit together yourself.
What we like here is how practical the package is. The tape is designed with enough stretch to sit down neatly in the rim bed and its semi-transparent finish makes the valve hole easier to locate. The included valve hardware also gives you three pairs of rubber bases, which is handy when you’re matching different rim bed shapes and trying to get a clean, airtight seal on modern road and gravel rims.
For real-world use, the included No Puncture Hassle sealant is a strong part of the package. It’s designed for tubeless-ready and full UST wheels/tyres, seals holes up to 6 mm, is CO2 compatible, and can last up to six months in temperate conditions before you need a top-up. If you’re moving to tubeless for lower pressures, fewer ride-stopping punctures and a cleaner first conversion, this is one of the more complete kits on the shelf.
Everything in one box
A proper conversion kit with tape, valves, sealant, seal patches, locking hardware and a core tool, so you’re not hunting for missing pieces before install.
Road/gravel shallow-rim fit
This version is set up with 21 mm tape and 44 mm valves, making it the right starting point for many lower-profile road, gravel and CX wheelsets.
Enough tape for two rims
The 10 m roll is intended to cover a wheelset, which is exactly what most riders want for a fresh tubeless conversion.
Valve fit options included
You get three pairs of rubber bases to help match different rim bed shapes and improve the seal at the valve hole.
Useful valve core tool
The included core remover makes it easier to remove the valve core, add sealant through the valve and get more airflow when seating stubborn tyres.
Sealant ready to go
Two pouches of No Puncture Hassle Tubeless Sealant let you complete the conversion straight away, with no extra sealant bottle needed.
Sealant suited to real punctures
The included sealant is designed to seal holes up to 6 mm, cope with 15–80 psi, and work across a wide temperature range.

No Puncture Hassle Tubeless Sealant
You get two sealant pouches in the kit, so you can complete the conversion in one go and get your tubeless-ready wheels rolling sooner.
CNC-machined black tubeless valves
These valves are included in the kit to give you a complete tubeless conversion package without hunting for extra parts.
Great for
Maybe not for
This selected kit is the Road/Gravel/CX shallow-rim option with 44 mm valves and 21 mm tape. It suits tubeless-ready wheelsets only. Check your rim’s internal tape requirement and valve length before buying; if you’re running deeper road rims, Muc-Off also offers a 60 mm valve road/gravel version. The included valves are designed to work with most tubeless rims, and the extra rubber bases help match different rim shapes.
vs Stan’s Road Tubeless Kit
Stan’s is the classic simpler option for road tubeless conversion, and its current road kit is offered with tape sized to fit specific internal rim widths. It’s a strong choice if you want a more basic package from a long-established tubeless brand.
vs Peaty’s Holeshot Tubeless Conversion Kit
Peaty’s is another premium conversion kit with tape, valves and sealant. Its Road & Gravel option uses 23 mm tape, 60 mm valves and one 120 ml sealant pouch, so it targets a slightly different wheel and rim profile than this Muc-Off kit.
vs Reserve Fillmore valves plus separate tape and sealant
A Fillmore-based setup suits riders who want to build a custom tubeless package around high-airflow valves rather than buying a boxed conversion kit. It’s more of a performance-upgrade path than a first-time all-in-one solution.
Check tubeless-ready status first
This kit is for tubeless-ready wheels and tyres. If either part of your setup is not approved for tubeless use, don’t assume a conversion kit will make it work safely.
Match tape width to the rim, not the tyre
The 21 mm tape needs to suit your rim bed. If you’re between sizes or unsure, check the wheel manufacturer’s tape recommendation before ordering.
44 mm valves are for shallower rims
For many standard road and gravel rims, 44 mm valves are spot on. If you’re running deeper aero rims, step up to the longer valve option rather than forcing this kit to fit.
Use the right rubber base
The extra rubber bases matter more than people think. Picking the shape that matches the rim bed properly is one of the easiest ways to avoid a slow leak at the valve hole.
Muc-Off is a British bicycle care and tubeless accessories brand that grew out of X-Lite UK, the company started by Rex and Marilyn Trimnell in 1991. After developing the world’s first twin crown bicycle fork, Rex created the pink cleaner that became the foundation of Muc-Off, and the brand was formally established in 1994.
Over time, Muc-Off expanded well beyond cleaners into lubricants, workshop products and tubeless equipment. The company says its products are developed through an in-house R&D centre, and its range now spans bike maintenance, tubeless systems and rider-focused accessories used across road and mountain biking.
