Ideal for tubeless MTB, gravel and drop-bar riders who want a clean cockpit and a puncture repair tool that stays on the bike full-time.
The Muc-Off Stealth Tubeless Puncture Plug is built for riders who want their puncture backup stored on the bike, not rattling around in a pocket or saddle bag. It tucks into compatible bar ends, giving you a 2-in-1 reamer and plug tool on one side and a trimming knife on the other. For mountain bike, gravel and drop-bar riders who already run tubeless, that means a cleaner setup and one less thing to forget before a ride.
In use, this kit is all about convenience and coverage. You get thin, medium and thick tyre worms, so you can match the plug to the size of the hole rather than forcing one size into everything. The included 17 mm, 19 mm and 21 mm expanding silica plugs broaden bar fit, and real-world testing points to a secure, quiet fit once installed. The trade-off is that removal is not the fastest because you need a 4 mm Allen key to get the tools out, so it makes the most sense if you already carry a multitool or run an on-bike tool setup.
Where this Muc-Off kit stands out is its stealth storage, tidy finish and practical all-in-one format. It can repair holes up to 6 mm, and the knife makes it easy to trim excess worm neatly after the plug is seated. If you mostly ride MTB or aggressive gravel, or you simply like a bike with essential tools hidden in plain sight, it’s a smart upgrade over a loose plug kit.
Bar-end storage
The repair tool and trimming knife store inside your handlebars, so your backup puncture kit is always on the bike and ready to go.
Three worm sizes included
Thin, medium and thick tyre worms let you match the repair to smaller road punctures or bigger gravel and MTB damage.
2-in-1 reamer and plug tool
The stainless steel tool lets you prep the hole and install a plug with one compact setup, which keeps trailside repairs simple.
Fits a wide range of bars
Supplied with 17 mm, 19 mm and 21 mm expanding silica plugs to suit different internal handlebar diameters.
Secure, tidy installation
The expanding plug system and threaded 4 mm Allen-key fitting give a snug hold once installed, with no bag or strap needed.
Trimming knife included
You can cut excess worm neatly after the repair, helping leave a cleaner finish and reducing the chance of the plug catching.
Stealth looks with colour choice
The CNC-machined 6061 aluminium bar ends give you a durable finish and a colour-matched look if you care about a tidy build.

What's included
6061 Aluminium
The CNC-machined 6061 aluminium bar ends keep the kit light, durable and tidy, so you get a tough repair tool without cluttering your cockpit.
Expanding silica plug
The expanding silica plug helps the tool fit a wide range of handlebars, so it stays neatly hidden inside your bar ends and ready when you need it.
Stainless steel 2-in-1 puncture plug/reamer tool
This combined reamer and plug tool lets you prep the hole and install a worm with one compact setup, making trail-side repairs faster and simpler.
Great for
Maybe not for
Check for a handlebar internal diameter greater than 17 mm and an 84 mm straight section at the bar end. It suits most open-end grips and many drop bars, and Muc-Off supplies 17 mm, 19 mm and 21 mm expanding plugs for fit adjustment. You’ll need a 4 mm Allen key to install and remove it. On road bikes, Muc-Off recommends a maximum of 80 PSI and advises replacing a plugged tyre once it’s safe to do so.
vs Dynaplug Racer Pro
The Dynaplug Racer Pro is lighter and quicker to deploy, with four pre-loaded plugs in one compact tool, but it is a more expensive standalone tool rather than a full hidden bar-end setup.
vs Stan’s DART
Stan’s DART is a very compact hand tool that uses a sealant-reactive plug design and does not require trimming, but it is designed around Stan’s sealant system rather than hidden on-bike storage.
vs Granite Stash Tubeless Tyre Plug Kit
Granite’s Stash kit targets a similar set-and-forget idea with handlebar storage and a sharper value position, making it a strong alternative if you want integrated storage without paying for the Muc-Off finish and colour range.
Best suited to riders who already carry tools
Because you need a 4 mm Allen key to remove the plugger from the bar end, this kit works best if you already carry a multitool or have another on-bike tool within reach.
A smarter match for MTB and gravel
This style of repair kit makes the most sense on MTB and lower-pressure gravel setups, where bigger punctures are more likely and plugged tyres are a more normal part of getting home.
Road use needs a bit more caution
It can be used on compatible road setups, but for higher-pressure road tyres we’d treat any plug as a temporary repair and inspect or replace the tyre once you’re safely home.
Check grip and bar-end design before ordering
The big compatibility point is not just internal diameter. You also need open bar ends and enough straight bar section for the tool to sit correctly.
