The Magene Saddle Mount moves your tail light from the seatpost to the saddle rails. It suits the Magene L508 radar tail light and the L308 smart tail light, and is a neat fix when there is not much exposed seatpost, or when an aero post makes a strap mount awkward.
It is made from aluminium alloy and ABS, weighs around 16.9 g and is rated to carry up to 350 g, well above what either light weighs. The compact body measures 57.7 x 28.2 x 27.5 mm, so it tucks in neatly under most saddles.
The mount is sold on its own, so you will need an L508 or L308 already. If you run a saddle bag, check there is room for both before you fit it.

Aim it properly
Once it is on the rails, sit on the bike and check the light points straight back, not down at the road. Radar units like the L508 need a clear view behind, so keep saddle bags and mudguards out of the way.
