Road riders and commuters who want a bright, controllable front light that talks to their bike computer.
The Magene Antares 1600 is a smart headlight for riders who want more than an on and off beam. It puts out up to 1600 lumens with a 120 degree wide view ahead and a shaped anti-glare cut-line that helps avoid dazzling oncoming riders and drivers. The cut-line stays the same whether you mount the light above or below the handlebar.
Bluetooth and ANT+ let it pair with compatible bike computers (Garmin Edge 530 and above, and Magene C506 and C606 and above) to change modes and check the remaining battery, and the OnelapFit app lets you set your own light modes. The 5000 mAh battery charges over USB-C in about 2.5 hours, and the light can also charge a phone or bike computer while you ride.
Up to 1600 lumens
Six preset modes from a 400 lumen low to the 1600 lumen high, with up to 10 modes stored.
Bike computer control
Bluetooth and ANT+ let compatible Garmin and Magene computers switch modes and show the battery level.
Anti-glare cut-line
A shaped cut-line keeps light out of oncoming eyes, mounted above or below the bar.
Long night flash runtime
Night flash runs up to 85 hours, while the 1600 lumen high mode runs about 1.5 hours.

Great for
Maybe not for
It mounts above the handlebar on the T-shaped bracket or below it on the hanging bracket with a GoPro standard interface, and both brackets are in the box. The body measures 111.4 x 26.1 x 34.1 mm and weighs 162 g.
Pick the mode for the road
On lit streets, night flash (200 lumens, up to 85 hours) makes you visible without draining the battery. On dark roads or trails, use medium or high so you have something to ride by, and remember high lasts about 1.5 hours. Magene says the light automatically reduces its brightness if it overheats, to protect itself.
