The Pnut 2.0 KinetiCore is a dedicated toddler helmet for children travelling in a baby seat, trailer or cargo bike. Its flat back panel helps keep the head from being pushed forwards in a child seat, while extra temple coverage adds protection around a sensitive area.
At the heart of the helmet is KinetiCore, with built-in EPS foam blocks designed to crumple during direct and rotational impacts. Unlike a separate slip-plane liner, the protection is integrated into the helmet’s foam structure; editorial testing and technical coverage describe this approach as helping avoid a liner that can catch in hair.
