The Pnut 2.0 KinetiCore is a children’s bicycle helmet for toddlers travelling in baby seats, trailers and cargo bikes. Its flat rear panel helps prevent the helmet from pushing your child’s head forwards, while additional temple coverage provides protection across a sensitive area of the head.
Inside, KinetiCore uses controlled-crumple zones in the EPS foam to help absorb energy from direct and rotational impacts without adding a separate plastic rotational-impact layer. The result is a lightweight 240 g helmet with integrated protection designed specifically for young passengers.
Getting the fit right is straightforward with the TurnSys dial adjustment system, and the cheek-positioned buckle helps reduce the chance of pinching skin beneath the chin. An insect net covers the front vents, while the reflective adjustment-dial sticker and rear mount for the Universal Lazer LED add useful visibility details for family rides.

Lazer is a Belgian helmet brand founded in 1919, with roots in Nivelles and headquarters today in Mechelen, Belgium. The company began with protective headwear long before modern cycling helmets became standard, then evolved through leather crash hats into hard-shell bicycle helmets as the sport demanded higher levels of protection.
Over the decades, Lazer became closely associated with cycling helmet development, including early hard-shell road helmets and more recent advances in fit, ventilation and rotational-impact design. Since 2016, Lazer has been part of Shimano, and in 2022 it introduced KinetiCore, its own built-in rotational impact protection system.
