Trail riders, weekend mountain bikers and gravel riders who want more coverage than a road helmet and a fit that is quick to set.
The Lazer Lupo KinetiCore is a trail helmet built for real-world mountain biking. It sits lower at the back and sides than a road lid, adds an integrated fixed visor, and comes in a Grey finish that suits any bike.
Protection comes from KinetiCore, Lazer's built-in system of shaped EPS foam blocks that crumple on impact to help manage both direct and rotational forces, without an extra plastic liner inside.
Fit is handled by the TurnSys dial at the back, and the one size covers 55 to 61 cm heads. Recesses at the sides make room for sunglass arms, and the rear mount takes a Universal Lazer LED for dusk rides.

One size fits 55 to 61 cm head circumference. Measure around your head just above the eyebrows and ears before you buy.
Getting the fit right
Wind the TurnSys dial fully open, put the helmet on so the front sits about two fingers above your eyebrows, then tighten until it stays put when you shake your head. Adjust the side straps so they form a V just under each ear, and leave room for one finger under the chin strap.
A Belgian helmet maker with more than a century behind it.
Lazer is a Belgian helmet brand founded in 1919, now based in Mechelen. It has been part of Shimano since 2016.
In 2022 Lazer introduced KinetiCore, its own built-in rotational impact protection that uses shaped EPS foam blocks instead of an added plastic liner.
