Commuters, casual riders and anyone who wants a comfortable, easy-to-fit helmet with rotational impact protection for everyday riding.
The Lazer Compact KinetiCore is built for the rides most of us do every day: the trip to work, the school run, a weekend spin along the bike path. It keeps things simple, with an integrated visor, a clean shell and nothing extra to fiddle with. This one comes in Flash Yellow, a bright, high-visibility yellow that stands out in traffic and low light.
Inside, Lazer's KinetiCore technology is shaped directly into the EPS foam. Those foam blocks are designed to crumple on impact and help manage both direct and rotational impacts, without adding a separate plastic liner.
Fit is handled by a TurnSys dial at the back, so you can snug it up or loosen it with one hand. It is one size, covering 55 to 61 cm heads, and weighs a light 290 g. For colder months it also takes Lazer's Winter Kit.

KinetiCore
Lazer's rotational impact protection. Controlled crumple zones are shaped into the EPS foam itself, so the helmet manages both direct and rotational impacts without an added plastic liner.
TurnSys fit
A rear dial tightens or loosens the fit in seconds, even on the move.
Integrated visor
The peak is moulded into the shell, so there are no clips to rattle or break.

One size fits 55 to 61 cm. Measure around your head just above the eyebrows and ears. If you are close to 55 cm, try it on first so we can check it sits snugly.
Getting the fit right
Loosen the dial, pop the helmet on level with the front edge about two fingers above your eyebrows, then turn the dial until it is snug but not tight. Adjust the straps so they form a V just under each ear and you can fit one finger under the chin buckle.
Belgian helmet makers for more than a century.
Lazer is a Belgian helmet brand that traces its roots back to 1919, making it one of the oldest names in cycling head protection.
The brand has been part of Shimano since 2016, and in 2022 it launched KinetiCore, its own rotational impact protection built into the helmet foam rather than added as a separate liner.
