Ideal for iPhone users who want a discreet alarm and Find My locator to complement their primary bike lock during everyday stops, errands and storage.
Knog Scout combines a motion-sensitive 85 dB alarm with Apple Find My tracking in a compact security device for your bike. Once armed, movement triggers the alarm and can send an alert to your iPhone when you are within Bluetooth range. If the bike is no longer where you left it, Apple Find My helps you check its last known location through the wider Find My network.
The alarm system is designed for practical deterrence: brief movements produce warning beeps, while repeated movement triggers the full siren. Real-world testing found the alarm loud enough to attract attention in both quiet surroundings and typical urban noise. The tracking function works like other Find My network devices, so location updates depend on nearby Apple devices rather than continuous GPS tracking.
Installation is straightforward on frames with standard bottle-cage braze-ons. Fit Scout beneath the cage for a discreet setup, use the supplied tamperproof screws and spacers, or fit the included Hi-Viz cover when you want the security device to be clearly visible. With IP66 protection, USB-C recharging and up to six months of battery life, Scout is a lightweight security upgrade for riders who want more reassurance when their bike is left briefly unattended. It is an added deterrent and locator, not a replacement for a quality bike lock.
