Road and fitness riders who want a light, well-ventilated helmet with a precise, easily adjusted fit.
Kask describes the Rapido as an entry-level helmet of the highest safety standard, stacked with professional features. The headline is airflow: 24 vents are positioned for maximum cooling on a hot summer's day, and the Up 'n' Down fit system lets you adjust the retention up and down as well as around your head, so the fit stays precise and comfortable.
The shell is built with Multi In-Moulding (MIT). Kask says a polycarbonate layer covers the shell on the top, the base ring and the back, giving complete polystyrene protection and higher head safety. Kask quotes 220 g in size Medium, and the Large here fits 59 to 62 cm.

Maybe not for
This is the Large, for 59 to 62 cm. Kask's Medium covers 52 to 58 cm. Measure around your head just above your eyebrows and ears, and if you sit near the edge of a size, try both before deciding.
Fit and replacement
Set the Up 'n' Down height first so the helmet sits level on your head, then take up the dial for a snug, even feel. Like any helmet, it is built to protect you in one hard hit, so replace it after a crash even if it looks fine.
