Riders with Hope V4 brakes who want a quiet, smooth-feeling pad for mostly dry trail riding.
These are Hope's standard organic pads for its V4 four-piston calipers, part number HBSP303. Hope designs and dyno tests its pads in-house at Barnoldswick in England, so they're made for exactly this caliper.
The organic compound is softer than sintered, so it's quiet, bites smoothly and puts less heat into the system. The trade-off is faster wear, particularly in wet and gritty conditions. The pads sit on steel backing plates, and each pack includes a fresh spring clip and pin.
One pack does one caliper. If you ride a lot in the wet or do long, steep descents, ask us about Hope's sintered option.

Softer than sintered pads, quiet and with a smooth feel. Best in dry conditions, and they wear faster than sintered.
Great for
Maybe not for
Fits Hope V4 calipers only (Hope pad shape 61). Check the caliper says V4 before ordering; Hope's other four-piston calipers use different pads.
Bedding them in
After fitting, push the pistons back evenly, then do 15 to 20 firm stops from walking to riding speed without locking up. Keep oil and lube off the rotor and pads; organic pads soak up contamination. If they squeal or feel weak after bedding in, bring the bike in and we'll check the rotor and caliper alignment.
