Commuters and winter road or gravel riders who want dry, warm hands without a bulky glove.
The GripGrab Waterproof Knitted Thermal Glove looks like a simple knitted glove, but there's a waterproof and windproof membrane bonded inside. It keeps showers and wind chill off your fingers while the knit stays soft, stretchy and breathable.
A silicone gripper print on the palm keeps your hands planted on wet bars, and subtle reflective details make your hand signals easier to see in the dark. The close, stretchy cut works with brake levers and shifters better than a bulky ski-style glove, and they go through the wash at 30°C.
This is the black version in size XL/XXL. They suit cool, damp mornings through Melbourne's winter; on properly freezing days you may want a heavier insulated glove.

Maybe not for
Size XL/XXL. The knit is stretchy and designed to fit close like a second skin; if you are between sizes, try them on as the membrane limits stretch slightly.
Keeping them working
Pull them on by the cuff rather than the fingertips so you don't stress the membrane. Wash them at 30°C and let them air dry rather than putting them on a heater. Tuck the cuff under your jacket sleeve so rain runs over the glove rather than into it.
