Road and gravel riders on Centerlock hubs wanting a quality upgrade or replacement for a worn 160 mm rotor.
The Galfer Wave Road rotor is a 160 mm Centerlock disc made for road and gravel bikes. The wavy Wave design comes from Galfer's motorcycle side, where it's used to keep brakes cool and consistent on long descents.
It's made from virgin 420 high-carbon stainless steel, laser cut rather than stamped, heat treated and double disc parallel ground so the braking track is properly flat. At 1.8 mm thick and 98 g, it suits all pad compounds and comes with a Centerlock lockring.

Wave design
Galfer's wavy outer edge, carried over from its motorcycle brakes, helps the rotor shed heat and clear the pad surface.
Laser cut and parallel ground
Cut by laser rather than stamped, then ground on both faces so the braking track runs flat and true.

Maybe not for
160 mm diameter, Centerlock mount, 1.8 mm thick. Match the size to your frame or fork mounts and caliper adaptor. Not compatible with Campagnolo / Fulcrum AFS.
Bed in new rotors
After fitting, do 10 to 20 firm stops from moderate speed, without locking the wheel, to lay pad material onto the rotor. Brakes feel much stronger and quieter after this.
Lockring tools
Centerlock lockrings on road wheels with thru-axles usually need an external splined lockring tool rather than the internal cassette-style tool. Tighten to the hub or lockring maker's torque.
