Parents replacing worn or broken pedals on a kids' bike, and anyone with a one-piece crank that needs 1/2 inch pedals.
These are straightforward MTB-style flat pedals with a one-piece polypropylene body, a grippy raised edge and reflectors built in. They are the kind of pedal we fit every day to get a kids' bike or a runabout back on the road.
The important detail is the 1/2 inch thread. That is the smaller pedal thread found on most one-piece cranks and many children's bikes, not the 9/16 inch thread used on most adult bikes with three-piece cranks. The body is also toe clip attachable if you want to add clips and straps.

1/2 inch axle thread only. Check your crank: one-piece (Ashtabula) cranks and most kids' bikes take 1/2 inch; most adult three-piece cranks take 9/16 inch and these will not fit.
Left and right threads
The left pedal has a reverse thread, so it tightens anticlockwise. Grease the threads, start them by hand so you don't cross-thread the crank, then snug them up with a pedal spanner.
Not sure which thread you need?
Bring the bike or the old pedal in and we'll check it in seconds. A 9/16 inch pedal will never go into a 1/2 inch crank, and forcing it ruins the thread.
