Overview

An ideal choice for performance-focused road riders who want a fast, stable and well-equipped bike for racing, hard training and high-speed weekend riding.

The Focus IZALCO MAX 8.9 is a race-oriented carbon road bike designed to turn your effort into speed. Its refined NACA-shaped tubes are developed for aerodynamic gains, while the stiff bottom bracket and laterally stiff fork help deliver direct acceleration when you stand on the pedals or push hard through a fast section of road.

You get SRAM Rival AXS E1 electronic 2x12 shifting, with a 48/35T crankset and wide-ranging 10-36T cassette for quick changes on the flat and practical gearing for sustained climbs. The Reserve 40|44 Road carbon wheelset combines 40 mm front and 44 mm rear rim depths with Vittoria Corsa N.EXT wide tubeless-ready tyres for a fast, composed feel.

The IZALCO MAX balances its aerodynamic focus with useful day-to-day comfort. The aero carbon seatpost, 29-622 tyres and frame design help take the edge off rougher surfaces, while the speed-oriented geometry feels stable at high speed and remains precise through corners. Integrated C.I.S. cable routing keeps the cockpit tidy, and the included mount supports Garmin and Wahoo computers.

Aerodynamic carbon frame

Wind-tunnel-approved NACA shapes help reduce drag while keeping the frame light and stiff for responsive road performance.

SRAM Rival AXS E1 2x12

Electronic shifting gives you crisp, dependable gear changes with a broad 10-36T cassette for varied road terrain.

Reserve carbon wheels

The 40 mm front and 44 mm rear Reserve wheelset adds aerodynamic efficiency and a purposeful race-bike feel.

Wide tubeless-ready tyres

Vittoria Corsa N.EXT tyres in 29-622 provide a fast road interface with useful comfort and puncture-protection potential when set up tubeless.

Sporty, stable handling

The speed-oriented geometry is designed to make fast cornering easier while keeping the bike composed on descents.

Integrated C.I.S. cockpit

Internal cable routing gives the front end a clean appearance, with a supplied Garmin/Wahoo computer mount.

Seven-size fit range

Sizes from XXS to XXL, plus size-specific stem lengths and handlebar widths, make it easier to achieve a well-matched fit.

Trainer and equipment compatibility

The IZALCO MAX is approved for direct-drive smart trainers and has a 110 kg maximum system weight, including rider, bike and equipment.
