Chill Zone uses a refrigerant propellant that freezes metal to as low as -45 C (-50 F). Finish Line says this makes the metal contract and creates micro cracks in the rust, and the penetrating release agent then breaks down and flushes it out.
It is aimed at stuck crank bolts, rusted derailleur springs and seized seat posts. Shake the can, spray for 10 to 20 seconds, wait 5 minutes, then work the part loose gently and reapply if needed. The can is 17 fl oz (509 mL), and the label carries an extremely flammable warning, so read it before use.
