Riders and mechanics building or repairing an E-TUBE Di2 setup with SD50 ports who need a 650 mm external-routing wire.
This is a Shimano EW-SD50 electric wire at 650 mm, the standard type for external routing on E-TUBE Di2 systems. It carries power and signals between your Di2 components through a compact, waterproof connector, with an SD50 plug at each end.
Pick the length by tracing where the wire will run and allowing a little slack at each end. The cable is 2.8 mm thick and the plugs are 5.1 mm, and Shimano makes the EW-SD50 in lengths from 150 to 1,600 mm, so there is a wire to suit most frames and cockpits.
650 mm length
Measure the route between your two Di2 ports and add a little slack to confirm that 650 mm is the right length.
Compact, waterproof connector
The connector is compact and waterproof, and it carries both power and interactive signals between components.
SD50 plugs at both ends
The plugs are 5.1 mm and the cable is 2.8 mm, so it fits SD50 ports.
External routing type
This is the standard EW-SD50. The EW-SD50-I is Shimano's separate internal-routing version with cable ties.

One length only, 650 mm. Shimano makes EW-SD50 wires from 150 to 1,600 mm, so measure the route between your two ports and allow some slack before you choose.
Check the port before you buy
This wire has SD50 plugs. Some Di2 parts use the smaller SD300 port instead, and Shimano notes that an SD300 port unit needs the EW-AD305 adapter to connect to SD50 port units. Shimano also makes the TL-EW02 plug tool for connecting and disconnecting EW-SD50 wires, so it is worth keeping one in the toolbox.
